The Arena

Do you have a project or a cause that you are passionate about?
Would you like to develop skills to expand your reach?

The Arena is a 12-session online course delivered by Voices of Colour that will help you deliver your skills in:

  • Market research
  • Digital marketing
  • Design workshop
  • Social media
  • Building your personal brand.

Digital skills training

We’ve partnered with Clarion Housing to deliver a range of online digital skills courses to help you with your career and personal development.

You’ll learn about a variety of software packages to improve your digital skills and help you with your job search and career development.

Skills for Professionals Programme

West London College’s Skills for Professionals’ Programme is a free, one-week course offering intensive support, whatever your location.

The programme is delivered through online coaching, tutor sessions and self-directed learning. It will help you:

  • Build confidence and prepare for interviews
  • Create a professional CV and learn more about completing a stand-out application form
  • Develop your digital skills training.

As part of the programme, you’ll be offered ongoing support from a one of our employment and skills advisors, to help you apply and develop all you’ve learnt, as well as access to a range of employers and professional agencies.

Apprenticeship opportunities at Friary Park

As part of the development of over 900 homes in Friary Park, North Acton, we’re working with developer, Mount Anvil, to provide a range of opportunities on site.

There’ll be construction apprenticeship opportunities available from October this year, and our Communities team will be supporting customers with training and onsite work placements.
