Catalyst won two silver awards in the Best Regeneration category at the WhatHouse? Awards 2019 for Southall Village in West London and for the Lea Valley Homes’ Kite Meadows development in Princes Risborough.
Southall Village is an ongoing regeneration project in the suburban setting of Southall, which is transforming the Havelock Estate into a new neighbourhood combining modern, fit-for-purpose housing with exemplary public realm alongside much improved shopping, leisure and community facilities.
Kite Meadows in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire is part of the Lea Valley Home scheme, which offers 96 two, three, four and five-bedroom family homes for market sale, shared ownership and affordable rent.
The WhatHouse? Awards celebrates the very best residential development in the UK from the past year. Judges praise developers who demonstrate a commitment to the inner city and urban renewal, or rural regeneration, including new build on derelict land and refurbishment of existing housing stock.
