Tribute paid to Murray Crawford at Mill Farm

Residents, colleagues and family members gather at the memorial to Murray Crawford and bench dedicated to him was unveilied.

On Thursday 5th November, Mill Farm residents and Catalyst colleagues came together for a memorial gathering to celebrate and honour the much-loved and respected Murray Crawford, previously the Regeneration Manager for Mill Farm, who sadly passed away in 2013.

At the gathering a bench and plaque dedicated in ‘loving memory’ to Murray was unveiled. Among those in attendance alongside local residents and braving the wet weather for Murray, were Catalyst colleagues Murray worked closely with on the Mill Farm scheme, his two nieces, his sister and many of his friends.

The afternoon then continued in the marketing suite for further speeches, food and drinks.

Murray’s family would like to leave this message:

“Thank you all so much for all the effort and thought that went into the event. The afternoon was lovely and it was amazing to see so many friendly faces. The bench is stunning, Murray would’ve loved it. Thanks to everyone involved.”
