Enter Dragons’ Den style competition and win £1,000!

Do you have an idea for a community activity or project that will reduce waste, encourage residents to reuse and recycle materials or save residents’ money? Then why not present your idea to the Catalyst Residents Federation (CRF) who are holding a Dragons’ Den style competition? Your project could win up to £1,000!

Who can enter?

Any Catalyst resident. It doesn’t matter if you are a tenant or a leaseholder. Or you could enter on behalf of your local forum, community group or residents’ association.

Who decides the winner?

The CRF will shortlist applications from the Brent, Kensington  and Chelsea, west London, and south east areas before  choosing the winners.


  • First: £1,000
  • Second: £500
  • Third: £400
  • Fourth: £100

 The rules

  • Your project should help reduce waste, encourage reusing or recycling, or help residents save money
  • You can’t use the money for general running costs of your group
  • The activity or project must benefit your community and not just an individual
  • If you don’t use the money within a year, you’ll have to return it

Send a short summary of your project to Wendy Bohan at the Unity Centre  103 Church Road, London  NW10 9EG by Friday 16 May
