We work closely with residents and partners to deliver economic and community improvements as well as physically transforming areas.
Community development
Through our community development charity, Catalyst Gateway, we deliver a range of projects to support and empower local communities. More than 4,000 people took part in Catalyst Gateway activities during 2011/12, including over 700 who we helped into training and employment. Catalyst Gateway’s Pathways to Progress project (P2P), which mentors young people, was ‘highly commended’ at the National Housing Federation’s 2011 What We Are Proud Of awards.
Regeneration experts
Having delivered 4,600 new homes over the last five years, we have significant expertise in successfully delivering major development projects and regenerating neighbourhoods.
One of our largest current regeneration schemes is the Wornington Green estate in North Kensington where we plan to completely regenerate the area, build up to 1,000 new homes and vastly improve the local neighbourhood.
In 2012 we were selected by Ealing council to regenerate the Havelock estate in Southall. We will be building over 900 new homes providing a mix of houses and flats for rent, shared ownership and sale and transforming the estate into a rejuvenated community.
