Summer holiday activities in Oxford

We’re working with partners to offer a great programme of activities for children and families this summer. Here are the highlights:

 

The Leys Play and Activity Day

Frys Hill Park, Greater Leys, OX4 7WQ
Thursday 27 July, 11am–3pm,
Activities for children and families include drumming, bouldering wall, go karting, body zorbing, sports, arts and crafts and much more.

Dovecote Summer Playscheme for children aged 4 to 12

The Dovecote, Greater Leys, Nightingale Avenue, OX4 7BU
Monday 24 July to Thursday 17 August, 10am–3pm.  You can book for the first two weeks or the second two weeks only. £40 for two week placement per child.
To register, come to the Dovecote Centre at 9.15 am on Friday 14 July.

Leys CDI Summer Project for young people aged 9 to 15 (with volunteering opportunities for young people aged 15+)

Blackbird Leys Community Centre, Oxford OX4 6HW
Monday 31 July to Friday 25 August, 10am–4pm.
Activities include swimming, ice skating, multisports, street art, music production, tech projects, kids’ café, video workshops, table tennis tournaments, day trips, and much more.
All children and young people living in or close to Blackbird Leys are welcome and the cost is £2 per day.
