The Dee Park quiet revolution

By June 24, 2020July 2nd, 2020No Comments

Our Communities team in Reading is partnering with local arts and mental health community project, The Engine Roomto offer creative arts opportunities for our older customers in the area.

Since lockdown began, Lisa from The Engine Room has been delivering art packs to customers in our Oak Tree House and Asentawa House sheltered schemes. She’s also be in touch with various Dee Park customers the project has previously worked with too.

The packs are free and include postcards of images and art work, writing ideas and colour charts to enjoy and maybe inspire a small art or creative writing project.

If you’re based in Reading and would like to receive a pack – or you know a neighbour who you think might like to get involved – please contact Tina Nashon to find out more.
