Summer holiday activities in West London

By June 27, 2017October 6th, 2021No Comments

Throughout August, we’re running a full programme of activities for children and young people at three locations across West London: Havelock, Friary Park and Windmill Park.

At each site, from 12-4pm each day, children will have the chance to take part in a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, multisports, football and drama.

There’s also an opportunity for adults to get involved, with sessions for parents and young people ‘upcycling’ old furniture with artisans from the Goldfinger Factory, who use reclaimed materials to create bespoke furniture and interiors.

Advice and help for adults

While children and young people are taking part in the activities, adults can get help finding a job or accessing advice on money matters. If you have children who are too young for the activities, crèche facilities will be available while you get this financial or employment advice.

Carnival

We’ll finish off with a Carnival in North Acton Playing Fields, Noel Road, London W3 0JF, on Thursday 24 August, from 1-5pm. There’ll be a live band from Jamaica, a football tournament and lots more for children, young people and families. Come and bring the whole family.
