Enterprise CUBE help communities across the country to create and unlock business for everyone. The 12-week Strive course is led by tutors with a wealth of experience in running their own businesses. It combines workshops, training, support materials, online video guides and one-to-one advice to help budding entrepreneurs get their ideas of the ground.
22 people took part in total, with 14 completing the whole course. Their bright business ideas included a café for Havelock, beautiful Nigerian garments, and a pet care service. At the Awards Presentation day, they pitched their business plans to a panel of judges from Catalyst, who stretched their thinking with questions and offered them feedback. They were also offered a follow-up session at Catalyst to get one-to-one support with their next steps. Three participants with food-based business ideas even provided the lunch for the day!
Tom Berrill of Enterprise CUBE, who led the course, said ‘The group have put in so much effort over the past 12 weeks, it’s been amazing to watch their business ideas take shape and their confidence grow. We’re really excited to see how this group of entrepreneurs progress over the coming months.’
