If you’re struggling to find permanent employment or you haven’t worked before, an apprenticeship is a great way to gain experience.

We are offering two Catalyst residents the opportunity to undertake a two-year multi-trade apprenticeship with our contractor, ENGIE.

You will receive training and assistance towards gaining a nationally recognised qualification as a plumber or multi-trade operative, whilst working as part of a leading energy and regeneration company with over 17,000 colleagues across the UK.

As an apprentice you will:

  • earn while you learn
  • study towards a nationally recognised qualification
  • be given access to a wide range of training opportunities throughout your apprenticeship
  • build self-confidence and a network of contacts

Your apprenticeship could also lead to permanent employment.

Both roles are London based, however this opportunity is open to all Catalyst residents that are:

  • aged 18+ (there is no upper age limit)
  • eligible to work in the UK

Requirements for the role

You will be required to travel to different sites and properties throughout the duration of your apprenticeship. Flexibility with travel is therefore essential. Some previous experience of working in construction is desirable, but not essential. The role will also require:

  • a methodical and logical approach to work
  • ability to work as part of a team

Deadline for CV submissions is 2 August 2019.

We will review all applications after the closing date and invite shortlisted applicants to our Ealing Gateway office for interview by mid-August. The successful candidates will commence their apprenticeship with ENGIE in September 2019.
