We’re looking for young people aged 16-25 years from Chalkhill, Stonebridge and Church End in Brent to join us on a new project called Flourishing Futures.

The purpose of this partnership project with Young Brent FoundationSpark! Hyde HousingBrent Council and MTVH is to raise awareness of the challenges facing young people in the area with accessing resources and support to gain employment.

How does Flourishing Futures work?

We’ll be working with a group of young people with various backgrounds and life experiences to help us understand the issues that impact employment and career choices in the area.

We want you to work together to investigate the experience of leaving school and finding suitable quality employment to raise awareness of the challenges you face.

What’s involved?

We’re looking for three project board members who’ll need to attend monthly meetings to give feedback on how it’s going and any issues.

You’ll work collaboratively with project partners in various ways, such as attending meetings, contributing to social media campaigns, and speaking at events.

What’s in it for me?

You’ll get paid for doing something positive for your neighbourhood! You’ll get £11.05 an hour, and we expect you to do a minimum of 10 hours per month.

We’ll provide all the necessary training to support the project and help you develop leadership and research skills. It’s also fantastic work experience in a relaxed and friendly environment where you’ll meet like-minded people.

The times and locations you take part in the project are flexible, so you can work it around any other commitments you have.
