Our Catalyst Communities team work with several organisations to offer food pantries and healthy food programmes across many of our communities.

Here’s a few of our current community centre programmes:

As part of our Cross-ward project with Hyde Housing, we host a ‘cooking over crime’ session at the Unity Centre every Monday, from 4-8pm, for young people aged 16 years and over.

The Unity Café is open every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from 10am-4pm offering Caribbean breakfast and vegan lunches at affordable prices.

We partner with local organisation The Venture Centre in Kensington, to offer a range of opportunities for local children.

One of these projects is our healthy meals programme that provides meals for local children visiting the centre after school and throughout the school holidays. Regular cookery workshops are offered for young people, encouraging them to make healthier food choices.

Our Blackbird Leys Community Larder in Oxford is open to members every Wednesday from 3-5pm. For a small monthly fee, members have access to a café, children’s play area and between 10-20 items of foods every week. All fruit and vegetables are free too.

Southall and Acton

Our food pantries in Windmill Park, Southall and Friary Park, Acton are offered during school holidays and busy periods such as Easter and Christmas. Both pantries deliver healthy food

Keep an eye on our social media channels to get the latest updates on upcoming pantry dates and more.
