We’re partnering with ENGIE to offer emergency first aid training, at the Jasmine Centre on Thursday 17 October.
This is a one-day course, and is free to all Catalyst residents. The training will cover emergency first aid and the role of a first aider.
Topics covered on the day:
- managing an emergency
- resuscitation (CPR)
- seizures
- bleeding (minor and severe)
- shock and burns
- what to do if someone is choking or unresponsive
- how to use a defibrillator
- health and safety regulations
Everyone who successfully completes the end of the day assessment will receive a certificate that is valid for three years.
