This National Apprenticeship Week, six of our current apprentices wanted to help give something back to our customers to celebrate the week. So, this Thursday, 10 February, they’ll be splitting their time to volunteer at two of our ongoing community projects at Friary Park.
What are our apprentices getting involved with?
We’ve got our office-based apprentices – Mellissa, Rosalie and Suliman – and our trade team apprentices – Lawrence, Bradley and Kieran – getting involved throughout the day.
Some of the team will be heading to Westcott Park Community Centre to help tidy up the garden after the winter months and decorate some garden furniture in preparation for an upcoming community event later this month.
The rest of the team will be helping out our regular Felix Project volunteers to pack the weekly food parcels at Friary Park Community Centre, ready to be collected or delivered to those who need them in the local community.

Find out more about our apprenticeships
We’ve been investing and supporting apprentices since 2017, with over 35 talented individuals coming through our programme so far.
Working in all areas from electrical and plumbing in our trade teams to IT and Aftercare, our apprentices develop new skills and increase their confidence, with a whopping 99% achieving a qualification at the end of their employment contract.
