You may have seen and heard the term ‘ESG’ come up more and more in daily life. ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governance, but what does it all mean and what is Catalyst doing as a business?
We’ve put together our ESG report which gives detail on our strategy and objectives and how well we’re currently performing
What is ESG?
In short, it’s our sustainability performance. But it’s so much more than that too. It’s who we are and the commitments we make to our colleagues, external stakeholders and customers – from the energy efficiency of our new homes and the investment we make in retrofitting, to supporting our customers and neighbourhoods with the services and community initiatives we offer.
Not only this, but we’re making sure that every aspect of what we do and who we are aligns to at least one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG).
Our commitment to ESG runs throughout our business and is how we measure our sustainability and our ethical impact. Our ESG credentials are really strong and our continued commitment to sustainability performance means they will only get stronger as they become increasingly central to how we run our business.
