On Wednesday 26 July, the Lancaster Estate Residents’ Association hit the ground running, as the launch of their regular coffee morning attracted some key people in the local area.
Virendra Sharma, MP for Ealing and Southall, came along to the coffee morning at the Jasmine Community Centre, as did the Mayor and Mayoress of Ealing, Simon and Val Woodroofe. They were joined by the Leader of Ealing Council, Julian Bell, and the Deputy Leader of the Council, Cllr Ranjit Dheer, as well as other Councillors from the local area and representatives of Catalyst.
The recently formed Residents’ Association will work with Catalyst to improve our service and the lives of our customers in the area. In a speech, Virendra Sharma MP praised the group for stepping forward, saying how important it is for local people and services to work together as a family to address issues in the community and improve the lives of local people.
The Residents’ Association plan to turn the coffee morning into a weekly feature in the community.
