Catalyst has won at this year’s national Business Culture Awards in the ‘Brand, Purpose and Values’ category.
The Business Culture Awards celebrate exceptional, forward-thinking organisations and recognise their commitment and achievements in making their business a great place to work and a trusted and innovative organisation to do business with.
The Brand Values and Purpose Initiative category recognises organisations that have clearly positioned their brand and purpose and embedded their values.
Our entry ‘A new purpose for a new Catalyst – Homes People Love’ detailed how we developed our brand identity and purpose following a significant merger with Aldwyck Housing Group. This included launching and living our new vision and values, being listed in the top 100 of ‘The Sunday Times 100 Best Not-for-Profit Organisations to Work For’, demonstrating our social and ethical purpose in ways such as repaying the £280,000 government furlough money we’d claimed and our continued and heightened focus to help and support our customers and colleagues through Covid-19.
Formed through extensive consultation with colleagues, customers and stakeholders, Catalyst’s new purpose ‘Homes People Love’ is supported by a genuine commitment to our vision ‘To earn and keep your trust’ and our values of delivering our promises, giving respect, earning trust, being accountable, and showing kindness.
The judges commented that they felt for the winner to achieve the results they had speaks volumes about the professionalism and focus in this area.
