On Saturday, the government announced Tier 4 restrictions in parts of London, the South East and East of England, which came in to effect from 00.01 on Sunday 20 December. To find out what the restrictions are in your area, you should visit the government website.
On Thursday 26 November, the government announced new tier systems restrictions in local areas starting from Wednesday 2 December. The three tier system will be reviewed every two weeks and sets out different rules depending on which tier you are in. This is part of the government’s winter plan.
