Catalyst and Rosebery announce their partnership

Catalyst Housing Limited and Rosebery Housing Association have today formally announced their partnership, with Rosebery becoming a subsidiary of Catalyst.

Catalyst owns and manages 34,000 homes in London and the South East and Rosebery has around 2,700 in Epsom and the surrounding areas.

Discussions between the two organisations began in August last year, with both teams exploring the benefits of a partnership that would see them working together across the region, to create more homes in well-designed neighbourhoods.

Rosebery was already providing excellent standards of service with the capability to take on the management of more homes in their expanding geographic area, so was an attractive partner for Catalyst.

Rosebery, at the same time was looking for a partner to explore major estate regeneration, which Catalyst has a long and successful history of delivering.

Very early in the discussions, both sides realised the potential and that there was considerable synergy between the two organisations, including their similar culture, aims and objectives.

Working in partnership, Rosebery will operate as a subsidiary of Catalyst and will have its own board and management team, operating within a defined geographic area. The partnership has an aspiration to deliver 2,000 new homes in Rosebery’s area of operation within 10 years.
