We’re inviting you to tell us more

In our customer survey sent in February 2020, over 700 of you told us that you would be interested in working with us to improve your experience of Catalyst.

The top three areas you told us you are interested in are:

  • Scrutinising our performance and making recommendations on how performance might be improved
  • Getting involved in community projects and services
  • Setting service standards and making decisions about how services are delivered.

Listening to your feedback, we want to develop our customer scrutiny offer and find out more about how you’d like to get involved in the governance of our organisation.

This is where we need your help
We’ll be hosting a governance and scrutiny webinar later this month. The 90 minute webinar will be split between scrutiny and governance and you can choose whether you stay for just scrutiny, just governance, or both.

Part 1 – Scrutiny
We’ll talk about our Customer Experience Strategy and the changes we are making to improve customer service. You’ll find out about our scrutiny panel and local area scrutiny forums – allowing you to scrutinise a topic of interest, at a time convenient for you and from the comfort of your home. 

Part 2 – Governance
You’ll find out more about the governance of a housing association. We’ll explain more about what our Board does, and how customer voice plays a big part in our decision-making process. You will also hear from one of our existing members on why they chose to get involved and what they get out of being a board or committee member.
