Employment support: we’re here to help you

We understand that due to Covid-19, you may have had some changes to your employment or studies. In this uncertain time, we want to let you know that we have ways to help you with employment and skills.

Not only this, but our employment and skills advisors can give you the support you need over the phone or online using video calls and emails.

We can help you with:

Producing a professional updated CV – an employment and skills advisor will work with you to find out more about your education and work history. A draft brand new CV will then be produced within two working days

Cover letter template – Struggling to find the right words for a cover letter? We can provide you with a template that can be changed according to the job you’re applying for

Job search resources and support – Looking for a job can be daunting – we’ll give you access to resources and support from websites such as National Career Service that will help you with your job search

Access to current vacancies – Did you know that we receive information on job vacancies on a daily basis? We can regularly send you relevant jobs, and if you want to apply, our advisors can help you complete any application forms.

Access to online training – There are lots of training providers and colleges that provide online courses and qualifications completely free of charge. Better still – you can study at a time convenient for you. Some of the courses include customer service, IT and hospitality. Contact us for the latest courses and training.

Regular support – If you want more regular contact, our employment and skills advisors can contact you directly to provide support in applying for jobs and training; and to refer you to other services such as money and benefits advice and help with getting online.
