Catalyst Housing helps out Ealing families for CSR day

Catalyst Housing partnered with Home-Start Ealing to paint and decorate homes in Northolt and Acton as part of a CSR day.

Catalyst Housing has partnered with local family support charity Home-Start Ealing to paint and decorate two homes in Ealing. Higgins Construction and the A&B group, regular construction partners with Catalyst, donated all of the required paint and materials that enabled the work to be done.

The painting and decorating team was made up of Catalyst’s BDMI department and was split across two homes in the borough, one in Acton and the other in Northolt. The Northolt flat required work done in one of the bedrooms whereas the Acton home needed redecorating in both the hallway and the living room.

Home-Start Ealing, a local arm of the Home-Start UK charity, helps families with young children across the borough. The charity supports households that have children under the age of five, giving young parents the confidence to build positive lives for their children. Joe Marshall, Business Development Manager (and interior design guru) for Catalyst Housing said, “This CSR day was a great way to bring the team closer together and, at the same time, get out and help some families in our home borough of Ealing. Home-Start Ealing is a great charity that does a lot of much needed work for families in the area and we hope to help out with them again in the future.

“Special thanks must also go to Higgins Construction and the A&B Group for providing the materials, without their help we wouldn’t have been able to help these two families.”
