Catalyst residents get digital

IMAG0131inter10Scores of people turned out to the grand opening of our internet café at  Evelyn Fox Court, a sheltered housing scheme in Kensington.

On the day residents living at the scheme and other Catalyst residents living in the local area got the chance to learn about all things digital. This included how to set up an email address, browse websites as well as how to connect with friends and family.

16 residents signed up to weekly classes at the internet café which opens Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm. Volunteers from Age UK will also be on hand every Tuesday to Thursday to help people use the internet. Sessions are free and available to all Catalyst residents aged 55 and over.

If you would like to sign up to the classes please contact Joy Smith on 020 8968 2085 joy.smith@chg.org.uk
