Rootes Residents’ Association Annual General Meeting
Are you a Rootes resident or live in the Princess Alice estate?
Rootes Residents’ Association invites you to attend our upcoming AGM on 10 March, and if you would like to get more involved put yourself forward or nominate a resident for the following positions:
- Chairperson
- Vice Chairperson
- Treasurer
- Vice Treasurer
- Secretary
- Vice Secretary
- Committee member (there is no limit to the number of committee members)
These positions are voluntary and you will only be expected to attend one meeting per month. The Rootes Residents’ Association (RRA) was established in September 2014 with the intention of encouraging neighbourhood integration., so far RRA has:
- Held two neighbourhood fundraising jumble sales
- Visited Southend-on-Sea with 74 residents from the neighbourhood
- Organised a community Sunday brunch
- Made good contacts with neighbouring community groups and the local council
