Residents’ group raises over £1k for cancer charity

Apsley-house-raThe Apsley House Residents Association raised £1,066 (and counting) at the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event in September.

Residents from Apsley House, in Ealing, spent hours baking cakes for the Macmillan charity. They then headed to Ealing Town Hall to sell their culinary delights.  A big thank you to the volunteers who sold and made the delicious cakes.

Macmillan supports people affected by cancer, from diagnosis through to treatment and beyond. There are 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer. By 2030, this will rise to 4 million people.

So far Macmillan coffee mornings have raised over £9 million for cancer. Visit if you would like to donate.
