Kensington community event
The Kensington Residents Forum in partnership with Epic C.I.C invite you to an informative and fun event for Catalyst Housing residents and their families in Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham and Epic C.I.C members.
What the day includes
- Information stalls on welfare reform, money matters, Your Credit Union, free courses, employment and training
- Mini workshops – learn some simple DIY repairs, gardening and CV writing skills
- Energy drop-ins – get advice on how to reduce your bills
- Snapback workshop (for over 13s) – find out how to design and create your own Snapback Cap
- Free fun activities for young people including face painting and sports
- Performances from the Caribbean Quadrille Dancers and do$s plays
- Stalls showcasing the work of and meeting residents’ groups, associations and The Prince’s Trust
- Health and well being: tips and checks – plus make a smoothie
- Taster sessions – Shiatsu massage, recording studio and fashion design skills
- Great prizes to be won and a free lunch
- A chance to meet Catalyst and Epic CIC teams
