Clearing up Blackbird Leys
Falcon Close residents joined forces with Catalyst and Greensquare Housing Association for a power clean up last week.
To beat the dirt they formed a united front against all things grimy and blasted them into skips. The dirt busters were so enthusiastic they managed to fill up two large-sized and two medium sized skips.
People cleared out their houses, gardens and sheds and also disposed of unwanted items. Our army of dirt busters even cleared up paths and communal green spaces.
We organised the clean-up days to improve the look of our neighbourhoods and make them more welcoming. The days are also a great chance for people to meet one another, exchange ideas and give us their feedback on how we can improve their area
