Catalyst calls on London Mayoral candidates to prioritise housing crisis
Catalyst Housing is supporting the Homes For London campaign and calling on all the candidates in upcoming London Mayoral Election to put housing at the top of the agenda.
Chief Executive, Rod Cahill said: ‘There is a desperate shortage of affordable homes for Londoners. The next Mayor of London needs to make this an absolute priority. Catalyst is proud to support Shelter’s Homes for London campaign. We intend to keep the pressure on all of the candidates between now and the election and then long after May 3 until London has the houses it needs.’
Catalyst is backing this campaign as part of the G15 group – a group made up of 15 top London housing associations. G15 houses around one in ten Londoners and manages around 410,000 homes. G15 is asking the government to deliver on its commitment to release public land for development.
