Catalyst Housing – A top place to work
Catalyst Housing made a strong debut at number 32 in The Sunday Times ‘100 best not-for-profit organisations to work for’ as well as receiving a 2 star Best Companies accreditation.
The accolade is awarded based on the responses of employees to the Best Companies “b heard” survey. 892 companies took part in this prestigious survey which recognised Catalyst as one of the top organisations to work for in the not-for-profit sector. Two stars are awarded by Best Companies to those they consider ‘outstanding.’
Catalyst is committed to creating an atmosphere of encouragement and support. We actively promote employee development and have a range of learning and training initiatives in place, enabling colleagues to enhance and broaden their skills sets.
Judith Foss, director of people and organisational development:
‘This prestigious award highlights that Catalyst is a great place to work and that we’re one of the best employers to work for in the sector. This is the first year we’ve applied for Best Companies accreditation and we’re thrilled to have achieved a 2 star rating and a Sunday Times list place of 32. It shows that we respect and value our employees and provide excellent opportunities and benefits.
We aim to recruit and retain the best people possible. This award will enable us to continue to employ outstanding individuals who’ll make a positive impact across the business. It will also provide our customers with further evidence of our commitment to improving services. We firmly believe that an engaged workforce links directly to our performance and our overall customer satisfaction ratings.’
