New area manager for west London

Daniel Keenan 2A warm welcome to Daniel Keenan who is the new senior area manager for west London. We caught up with him to find out what he’ll be doing in his new job and how he’ll be working with residents.

What does your role involve?

I’ll be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the two west London housing teams. I’ll have two senior managers to manage our neighbourhood managers so I can focus on improving services. I’ll also work closely with other Catalyst teams and external organisations for a more joined-up approach to delivering services.

How will you be improving services?

My role will involve coming up with new ideas to make things better for our residents. I’ll look at where there are gaps and then develop plans to fill them. I want to ensure that new ideas, policies, procedures and ways of working are consistent across west London.

Why did you decide to go for this role?

It’s simple – I want to make a difference. My career started in housing but I have worked in more strategic roles over the last ten years. This job is a great opportunity for me to get back to the ‘shop floor’ and work with residents. I want to use my experience of strategic and hands-on housing to deliver excellent housing services in west London.

How will you be working with residents?

Residents know our service better than anyone else. I’ll be visiting neighbourhoods to find out what residents think about us and the service we provide. I want to talk to as many people as possible, so if you have something to say, please get in touch!
