Do I need permission for a satellite dish or Sky dish?
Yes, you’ll need our written permission before installing a dish. See the below for further advice:
If you live in a flat and the property has a communal satellite dish, you don’t need to install your own dish. If you would still like to install your own dish, or if you live in a house, please follow these steps:
- Request a satellite dish permission form from us, then complete it and return it to us. You can request this by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or calling us on 0300 456 2099.
- Contact your local authority to check if your property is a listed building or is in a conservation area: if so you’ll need to apply for planning permission.
- Send the satellite dish permission form, and the planning consent details (if applicable). You can email this to us at email@example.com or post it to Catalyst Housing, Ealing Gateway, 26–30 Uxbridge Road, London W5 2AU.
Once we receive the above documentation we’ll make a decision in line with our policy, and we’ll write to you to confirm the request has been approved or refused.
