What will the engineer do during a gas safety check?

The engineer will carry out a visual check on all the gas appliances that Catalyst owns, such as gas fires and boilers. They’ll also check the gas supply pipes and the gas meter. This takes around 40 minutes.

At the end of the check the engineer will produce a Landlord Gas Safety Record certificate which you will be asked to sign and a copy will be given to you.
