What happens to a property when someone has died?

When a tenant dies, someone related to them who has been living with them at the property for a certain time may be entitled to take over the tenancy. This passing on of tenancy is known as ‘succession’.

However other criteria will also need to be met before the tenancy can be passed onto another person.  For more information please email us or call us on 0300 456 2099
