What is a cautionary contact?

A cautionary contact is a warning that we can add to a customer’s account following any instance of abuse or violence (both verbal and physical) towards:

  • Our staff.
  • Our contractors.
  • Anyone who works on our behalf.
  • A tenant.
  • Any member of the tenant’s household.
  • A tenant’s visitor.

This warning flag will also inform staff to take appropriate action when delivering services to that person.
