How are anti-social behaviour cases classified?
Catalyst has introduced a PEN (personal, environmental, nuisance) matrix to assess the anti-social behaviour (ASB) reported and whether it would be classed as low, medium, or high. It provides justification for actions that are taken, such as investigation, referral or protection. It also provides justification as to why no action needs to be taken if the level of intervention is in dispute.
We assign each type of anti-social behaviour a priority level and a response time frame.
