Does an inspection need to be made of the property before I move out?

Yes. This is called a ‘pre-void inspection’.

You will need to make your property available for your Neighbourhood Experience Manager and the Repairs Surveyor to inspect before you vacate. This is to allow them to check the property’s condition. At this point they will identify any repairs that are your responsibility to repair.
