What is a sheltered scheme?

A sheltered scheme is an over-55 age scheme, with additional services such as support from a Housing Support Manager.

A sheltered scheme will have an emergency pull-cord system in all flats and will have several communal areas.

We also now have extra-care schemes. The main difference to Sheltered Schemes is that there is always a care team on site to support residents.

Visit our website for more details on our sheltered housing schemes.
