Why have I not been offered a property?

In order to receive an offer you should bid for a property until you are shortlisted for a viewing. Only those that come within the top five in the rankings are invited to view a property. In some cases, up to 10 top bidders are invited.

You should also consider other options such as mutual exchange, which is a more successful means of moving to a new property.

The following are various mutual exchange schemes available for existing tenants:

www.homeswapper.co.uk

www.exchangelocata.org.uk

www.houseexchange.org.uk

www.housingmoves.org  (for London residents only)
