What checks will you carry out before you offer me a property?

Once your bid for a property has been successful we ask your landlord, or registering body, to confirm whether your circumstances are the same as provided on your application.

For example, we would consider:

  • Any history of rent arrears.
  • Any anti-social behaviour issues.
  • Any support needs that means the property is not suitable for you. For example, you may have a disability that may affect the type of property you move to.
