We offer a range of opportunities that enable aspiring individuals and families to get on to the property ladder and also offer opportunities for people to move up the property ladder.
If you are able to purchase a property without any Government assistance, we have a fantastic selection of properties available on the open market. You do not need a live or work connection to buy on the open market.
This is part-buy/part-rent scheme. This allows you to buy a share of a property and pay a subsidised rent on the rest. The combined monthly costs of your rent and mortgage will normally be a lot less than buying the property on the open market.
Shared ownership resales
These properties become available when existing shared owners wish to sell their stake in the property, normally as a result of moving up the property ladder.
Equity loan schemes offer low-interest loans that boost your affordability by topping up your mortgage. These schemes allow you to buy a property that you would normally be unable to afford. You can buy any property of your choice as long as it is not tied to another government backed homeownership scheme. However, there are certain eligibility requirements depending on where the scheme is being offered.
Right to buy
The Government has plans to extend the Right to Buy to housing association tenants. This scheme has not been launched yet, but we will provide more information when available.
