Catalyst announces departure of Executive Director

Catalyst has announced that Tom Titherington, Executive Director of Property & Growth will be leaving the housing association at the end of September.

Tom has worked at Catalyst since 2011, having first started as Executive Director of Business Development and Market Intelligence before taking on Catalyst’s development department in early 2017.

Under Tom’s directorship, Catalyst’s development programme has seen consistent growth across London and the South East. Tom has overseen the housing association expanding its development into new areas, with its first housing projects in Haringey, Waltham Forest and Merton. He has also managed several award-winning estate regeneration projects, including Portobello Square, Dee Park and the regeneration of the Havelock Estate in Southall, Ealing.

Tom has been a champion of partnership working to deliver more genuinely affordable homes for London and the South East. In the past year, he has guided Catalyst into two new joint ventures – with Galliard Homes at the Wimbledon Stadium project in Merton, and with Redrow Homes for a proposed scheme in Brentford, Hounslow.

Tom said, “After seven eventful and fulfilling years at Catalyst, I have decided to move on. I have had a great time working here and am really proud of what we’ve achieved. I leave behind a great team that will achieve great things.

“I’ve been working in housing for over 36 years at a very senior level for 24. I now want to see if I can work and contribute in a different way.

“I will miss the people, dynamism and commitment of Catalyst, as they make places better and provide homes for the people that need them most. I’ll be watching to see how some of those big projects we’ve started progress in the future.”
