How are we funded?

We are mainly funded by grants, donations and membership fees.

We are dependent on grants from local authorities to deliver our core services. A growing percentage of our funding also comes from fundraising from trusts and charities, and smaller amounts from donations and membership fees.

The Catalyst Housing Group provides some funding and, more importantly, the use of our building in Western Road, together with help in many other ways, including management support, staff training, IT and financial services.

Our expanding services and membership means we have outgrown our current premises. We need more rooms and new equipment. Our elderly and frail users need full disabled access and more space for wheelchairs. New services need to be developed, including health care and rehabilitation for older members, and training and education for young people.
