Aims and objectives
The aims and objectives of the Southall Day Centre are:

To provide a place where men and women can go to find companionship and mutual support.

To provide information, advice, advocacy, counselling and support on a range of problems experienced by members of the centre.

To provide recreational and cultural activities

To collate information on the needs of elderly Asian men and women, and to liaise with other agencies over the creation of additional resources and facilities.

To facilitate and support the development of traditional oral community history.

To encourage and support members by the development and introduction of new services and facilities, resulting in an improvement in the quality of users' lives.

To stimulate the opportunity for employment by the provision of IT skills training and English support.
