Funding for local groups

Financial support for resident groups

We can help you to start or run a residents’ group or association and also help with day to day costs.

Start-up grants

We can help you with the costs of starting a new group. We will give £200 to all new groups to help them get off the ground. To apply for a start-up grant, contact Michael Simms, michael.simms@chg.org.uk

Annual maintenance grants

We can help cover the day-to-day running costs of a residents’ group. It can also be used to promote the group and increase membership. Maintenance grants can be applied for at the start of the financial year (from 1 April) or 12 months after a group has received a start-up grant. The grant is calculated by adding £3.50 for each Catalyst property covered by the group. To apply for a maintenance grant, contact Michael Simms, michael.simms@chg.org.uk
