Make sure you insure the contents of your home
Our responsibilities
We are responsible for insuring the structure of your building, and our building insurance will cover major accidents or disasters, such as fires and lightning, storms, floods, leaking water tanks and pipes.
But we do not insure your furniture, belongings or decorations against theft, fire, vandalism and burst pipes.
Your responsibilities
You need to take out your own household insurance either with our special scheme (arranged by Aon, through Aviva) or by making your own arrangements.
Our home contents insurance scheme is open to all Catalyst Housing tenants. If you would like more information collect a leaflet from your local office.
