Main hall

The Unity Centre’s versatile main hall is available for functions, large public meetings and events, arts performances, exercise classes, and exhibitions.

The room seats up to 150 people (or 200 people standing), with lots of power points for PA systems, lighting and other equipment.

The main hall can be used for:

• Private functions – birthdays, weddings etc
• Public meetings
• Events
• Presentations
• Large group indoor activities
• Playgroup for up to 60 people
• Crèche for up to 40 children

Included in the hire price of the main hall are the kitchen and foyer areas, as well as the furniture for your function. There is also large screen for formal presentation and numerous power points.

Meeting room

Designed for meetings and training events, our community room seats up to:

• 16 people board room style
• 50 people theatre style
• 50 people semi-circular style

With ample space for flip charts, and other presentation materials, this is a great place for generating discussions, solving problems, and creating new ideas. This room also includes a power point projector and screen.

Suitable for: meetings, presentations, workshops.

Facilities: power points, and a crèche for up to 11 children.

Fitness studio with mirrored walls

Our fantastic fitness studio is ideal for dance, yoga and other exercise classes.

Suitable for: exercise activities.

Facilities: mirrored walls, equipment storage, aerobic mats.

IT suite

Those who want to improve their computer skills can take advantage of our fully equipped IT suite with internet access. The room comfortably seats 12 people, making it perfect for seminars and workshops.

Suitable for: classes, courses, seminars, workshops.

Facilities: 12 PCs with internet access and printer, flip chart and white board.

Multi-sports pitch

Our outdoor multi-sports pitch can be used for all kinds of activities, including rounders, netball, football and tag rugby.

Suitable for: outdoor sporting activities.

Kitchen

Refreshments are usually served in our kitchen. We have details of catering companies who can provide food on your request.

Café area

Users of the centre can enjoy light refreshments in this area, which seats up to 16 people.  

WCs and changing rooms

The centre has spacious showers and toilets, which are for anyone using the centre for sports or activities. Baby changing facility are also available.
