Annual reports for residents
Our latest annual report – produced in asssociation with the Catalyst Residents Federation – was published in September 2011. This can be downloaded from the ‘our service standards’ section of this website.
Listed below is an archive of older annual reports for Catalyst residents:
Catalyst Communities Housing Association’s Residents’ Annual Report 2010
Fortunegate Community Housing’s Residents’ Annual Report 2010
Kensington Housing Trust’s Residents’ Annual Report 2010
What are these reports about?
These reports update you on how the housing associations in the group – Catalyst Communities Housing Association, Fortunegate Community Housing, and Kensington Housing Trust – are doing. Our regulator, the Tenant Services Authority (TSA), requires that we publish a report each year for residents explaining how we are meeting, or aiming to meet, their standards. We also need to set out how we plan to tailor services locally for residents for some of the standards in what are known as ‘Local Offers’.
How have residents been involved?
The Catalyst Residents Federation (CRF) is made up of residents of all three housing associations, and its is to help improve services to residents through monitoring what each landlord does and making recommendations on service improvements. It has helped us design and carry out a survey with residents on Local Offers at existing resident and community events over the summer. The results, together with other resident feedback, will be used to help set Catalyst’s Local Offers.
Catalyst has also worked closely with residents to review our position against the Standards. In particular, the CRF have helped set the structure, content and design of these annual reports. This high level of involvement has resulted in a set of reports that we are confident accurately reflect our current position against the TSA’s Standards.
What happens next?
The reports set out where we are against each of the Standards, and explains what we need to do over the next year to improve services for our residents.
Work will now begin across the organisation to ensure that the necessary improvements are made and targets met, this will involve further work on the local tailoring of services which we need to have completed by April 2011.
How can you have your say?
