We have redesigned our website to make it more user-friendly and easier to view on different devices and screens, including smartphones and tablets.
This redesign is one of the first steps in our ambitious digital strategy to improve how we use our digital channels – such as our website, email, and social media channels – to deliver a better and more efficient service for our customers.
One of the key aims for the redesign was to make our site more mobile-friendly: visits to our website using a mobile phone have jumped 60% during the last year. Our previous design was difficult to navigate on a smaller screen, so we’ve updated it to make the page layout adapt to the size of the screen.
We’ve also simplified the layout to make the text is easier to read and the site easier to navigate.
We are now planning to increase the amount of transactions you can carry out on our website, for example arranging a repair appointment online through a self-service portal. Many people increasingly prefer to do things online at a time that suits them – for example, manage their bank account or shop online –and we will be increasing our online services to reflect this need.
We’ll keep you updated with our progress as we continue to expand and improve our online services.
