Analysis tailored to your needs

Demand analysis – As a developer of social housing we ensure that there is sufficient demand for any new development. This guarantees that developments are matched by demand from local residents, reducing the risk and the time properties are void.

Customer profiling – In a changing social housing market understanding the demands of the customer is essential. Profiling allows for the segmentation of potential customers into groups depending on their lifestyles, where they live and work and their income. These profiles can then be used to carry out in-depth analysis on a segment of the market, or to tailor a product to meet a specific need.

GIS – We utilise mapping software to provide visual analysis of a wide range of housing issues. GIS can be used to support demand analysis and product development for example, but it is also extremely powerful as a stand-alone tool, useful for mapping voids, deprivation, demographics, anti-social behaviour and affordability ratios.

Asset management modelling – We work to maximise the amount of money reinvested in improving our housing stock and the lives of our residents. This involves reducing and managing risk attached to our existing housing stock and identifying where best savings can be made.

Market appraisals – We place great emphasis on the type and location of new developments. We carry out market appraisals to ensure that we develop in the right locations, provide a sustainable mix of stock at the right price and ensure that there is demand for a new development.

While we analyse demand from our own database of potentially interested parties, we also look at what schemes other housing associations and private developers have in the pipeline.

Bespoke research – We have extensive expertise in meeting the specific needs of clients. In particular we have strengths in the demand and supply of residential property, attitudes towards property, and emerging trends within the social and intermediate housing markets.
