Group membersCatalyst Housing Group is made up of four registered housing associations, together with a number of associated companies. We operate in 16 local authority areas, and across the Group there is more than 140 years' experience of providing affordable homes for those in need. The structure of the main group companies is shown below:

Catalyst Housing Group Limited |
Established in 2002, Catalyst Housing Group Limited is the Group's non-asset holding parent company. In addition to responsibility for Group strategy and regulation, Catalyst provides central services including finance, development and corporate services. Catalyst Housing Group Ltd is a charitable Industrial and Provident Society. |
Catalyst Communities Housing Association Limited |
The largest Group member, Catalyst Communities HA provides more than 10,000 rented, leasehold, sheltered and supported homes in outer-west London, with regional operations in Oxford and Reading. Catalyst Communities was formerly known as Ealing Family Housing Association, which was established in 1965. Catalyst Communities is actively involved in several major regeneration projects and supports this with wide ranging community development activity. Catalyst Communities HA is a charitable Industrial and Provident Society. |
Kensington Housing Trust |
Kensington Housing Trust was established in 1926 and is responsible for general needs rented housing and estate regeneration in central and inner-west London. Kensington Housing Trust currently manages some 2,300 homes, and is a charitable Industrial and Provident Society. |
Fortunegate Community Housing |
Fortunegate Community Housing was formed in 1998, when it took over 1,500 homes from Brent Council on the Church End and Roundwood estates in Harlesden. Fortunegate is working to regenerate the area through building new homes, refurbishing substandard homes, and delivering employment, training and community development projects. Fortunegate Community Housing is a registered charity. |
Southall Day Centre Limited |
Established in 1978, Southall Day Centre provides a wide range of services including day care, advice and training to more than 2,000 members at two sites in Southall. Most of members are elderly people from the Indian Sub-Continent or East Africa, and refugees from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Africa and India. Southall Day Centre is a subsidiary of Ealing Family Charitable Trust, and a registered charity. |
Barnet Community Homes |
In October 2000, Barnet Community Homes was appointed by the London Borough of Barnet's to replace eleven outdated residential care homes for the elderly with five new homes. These new homes will provide residential care for about 350 people, plus day care for the wider community. The first home, Dell Field Court, was officially opened in April 2003. Barnet Community Homes is working in partnership with care provider the Fremantle Trust and is a subsidiary of Catalyst Communities Housing Association. |
Vintage Care |
Vintage Care manages the Acton Care Centre, which opened in April 2003. The centre provides general nursing and dementia care for up to 124 residents, and when it is fully occupied it will have a staff team of over 150 people. Vintage Care is a subsidiary of Catalyst Communities Housing Association. |
